I am so disappointed.
I am so ashamed by what I saw.
I am so disgusted by the lost opportunity.
As far as I am concerned, Ted Cruz completely and irrevocably blew his career sky high.
He
absolutely transformed before our very eyes into a petulant,
whimpering, grimacing baby, who had just had his pacifier taken away
from him.
This was the Ted Cruz who was given the opportunity and
the honor of signifying the joining of the disparate factions in the
republican party; to display a gentlemanly and sportsmanlike attitude
toward the anointed Republican candidate.
Instead, he simpered.
He spoke only to the camera, as though seeking solace and forgiveness
there, knowing full well it would not come—not now, not ever.
He
stood, at the end, with a sickening smile on his face, listening to the
end of his political career arrive, transported by the booing delegates
who had tried to accept him, wanting to believe he would join with them
in the harmonious support of Donald Trump.
But, it was not to
be. Senator Ted Cruz, now reduced to Mr. Cruz, left the stage driven
off by the angry looks of the delegates who displayed their anger for
the whole nation to see by booing and hissing at his back.
He had failed to announce his support of Donald Trump and the delegates showed their displeasure.
The mighty Cruz
----has struck out!
Where am I? Crap! My Wife Lit a Match, and POOF---

CRUZ AND KASICH SAY THEY WON’T SUPPORT TRUMP IF HE’S THE CANDIDATE.
Ohhh, Booo, hoooo!
Cruz "won't support the pub
candidate", unless it's himself?" And neither will Kasich.
Funny how they came out with that on
the same day. And, of course, when they did, Trump decided he's in the same
boat. --Except he actually has a reason to refuse to support the pub
candidate--if it's not him.
The Republican Party has lost the
election for us. They, by actively opposing one of their own candidates, AFTER
THEY FORCED HIM TO SIGN A PLEDGE TO SUPPORT THEM, has shown NO regard for the
republican voter. THEY DON'T CARE WHO YOU VOTE FOR! Is that loud and clear
enough? They are planning, once again, to tell us who we are going to vote
for---only I agree with Trump. If that traitorous party doesn't accept a
legally voted for candidate, then I will not support another McCain, or Romney,
or any other loser they wish to foist off on us. AND I WILL NEVER AGAIN VOTE
REPUBLICAN. Instead, I want a 3rd party of NOTHING but constitutional
conservatives. I'm finally, totally and disgustingly fed up with the
experimentation of the democrats when they are elected to office.
WE ALREADY KNOW SOCIALISM DOESN'T
WORK, people! And neither do higher
taxes, more gun control, more restrictions on free speech (aka PC opinions) and
sucking up to the enemy.
I WILL vote 3rd party if necessary.
And if we lose the election, I will do my damnedest to vote Klintoon out of the
white house after the first four years. And whatever damage she does, because
of her liberal stupidity, we will reverse promptly and finally, once we get our
man in office.
If our action fails, there is always
revolution, which is the right of every American citizen. We have the RIGHT to
change our government; throw out the ignorant leftists who are hell-bent on
destroying us.
They should be forever described as,
"Never have so few so totally screwed so many!"
The republican party has followed
the democrat party for so long, they now think like a liberal.
The best thing they can do for their
country, is change their name to one of the following: (Their choice:)
"Communist party,
"Democratic socialist party"; "Globalist socialist party, or
"party-with-the-stupidest-ideas-on-how-to-manage-government"; how to
insure peace and security; how to protect us from our enemies and, finally, "the
party nobody wants"!
If I've left any out, tag 'em on in
the comments!

Don't Mind Me---I Was Just Passing by and Thought I'd Drop in--
What a pathetic picture you all present. How I hate to watch news, or newspapers any more, or listen to the pathetic whining of those who no longer believe in this country.
The art of criticism is at it's highest point, today. The bad habits of the liberals, who criticizes anything, everything and all things has seeped into the minds of the conservatives.
It's even brought the Republican Party to its knees--not to beg, but to bow in obsequious acquiescence. Their acquiescence demonstrates there philosophical change to the unbalanced mind of the left.
Oh, they haven't embraced the entire philosophy of the left as yet, but they are markedly on their way toward that goal.
I'm old.
I understand what is expected of me by my party and my peers--die, and leave the field to the younger.
But, I sit here, with my life-sustaining tube up my nose in total rebellion. Were there an active militia I could join that promised to over throw the mess we are in at present, I would do everything in my power to aid them.
As it is, I can only do my best to counter the politically correct crap we are mired in every day.
An anonymous man once said, "America! I weep for thee! Thy talents and thy energies are wasted on the trivial and thy greatness has become a comedy of errors."
--And I will be damned! Turns out the anonymous man was me--and I may have been drunk at the time—not that it would matter.
Maybe I should stay drunk--the world becomes a more sensible place until the hangover.
You see, I still remember the days when men believed in patriotism, honesty, loyalty and hard work. A time when a man was known by his reputation.
I can remember when Gen. D. MacArthur uttered these famous words at West Point: "Duty, Honor, Country!"

AREN’T WE SMARTER THIS TIME AROUND?
A brief
reminder of the past: Republicans ran
McCain against Obama in 2008. Obama won
handily by promising “change”. We, of
course, didn’t know that change would be to socialist principles. The result was we watched our country decline
into the similar state of Great Britain.
In 2012,
realizing where the country was heading, we opted for change—we voted for those
senators who promised to counter Obamacare and cure the illegal immigrant
population.
Turns out we
voted for those who had no intention of carrying out their promises. The result was a Speaker forced to resign and
a new Speaker who appeared to be too ready to follow the old one. He did offer some agreement after enough
noise from the people.
So what have
we today?
From the
uproar within the party, we have seriously stepped on tender toes. To which I say, “Congratulations”. I couldn’t agree more.
For too many
years we have blindly followed those in the leadership of the party who told us
we were getting a large serving of, “conservatorism”—when obviously, we
weren’t. It was just more of the same
and, in too many cases, too often a compromise that handed us a socialist
nightmare, ala Obamacare, whose motto shall forever be, “WE MUST PASS THE BILL
TO SEE WHAT’S IN IT!”
Have there
ever been 10 more stupid words? --Ever?
“Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or
any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure…”, to borrow from Abe
Lincoln. And it’s true—we are engaged in
a civil war, minus the violence of same.
If we are to control the party and their wants and desires, we MUST make
our voices heard. To do so, we must pick
our own candidate and NOT let the party, through flim-flammery, name another
RINO. To that end, it has become
apparent that Donald Trump is the choice of the people.
The saddest
part of that truth is the number of people who, for unapparent and unnamed
reasons, insult, berate and castigate the man, without apparent proof of wrong
doing.
Trump, an
obvious choice of the people at this stage, is not guilty of the corruption of
a Hillary Clinton and has not been caught in major lies as she has. In fact, despite the best efforts of
democrats AND republicans, there are NO serious charges to be levied against
the man, other than he is rich, finances his own campaign and has four
bankruptcies in his history.
Oh, yes, --he
also espouses a solution to immigration, trade reform, taxes and the
economy. All worries from the past eight
years.
The only
real complaint those who dislike Trump have is he, “acted childish” in the last
debate. That charge, of course, totally
overlooks the fact the man has had a bullseye on his chest ever since the first
debate.
The
childishness was first displayed by the apparent distress of Rubio and Cruz,
who banded together in their childish attempt to somehow bring Trump to his
knees. According to all polls, it didn’t
work.
It is sad
that, at a time when the people need to stand together behind one candidate,
they choose to divide themselves into bickering over an “outsider” a RINO
and/or a loser.
And we
thought we were getting smarter.
