His stupid statements on the building of the Mosque at ground zero--that's what caused it!
He knows darned well almost 70% of Americans don't want a mosque anywhere near the site of a Muslim attack on the Great Satan-, er, the United States!
Does he really care what the people think? Heck no! He said, long ago, that in a crisis, he'd stand with the Muslims---probably because he's a Muslim pretending to be a Christian--who doesn't attend a Christian church, but has been known to visit mosques.
Would YOU visit a mosque, other than as a tourist?
I didn't think so.
On the other hand, there are a lot of Christians who don't attend church, but that's another story, isn't it?
So by the time we elect a new president (and we will) this mosque will be well under construction.
And my advice to Obama would be, "Don't wear shoes. That way, when you stick your foot in your mouth, the only danger will come from your toenails!
Then I propose the new president take over that ground, using eminent domain and turn that mosque into a YM/WCA including a swimming pool, pool tables, big screen television, restaurants and 12 floors of rooms for the homeless.
Now THAT would be a memorial to 911.

McChrystal Replaced by Petraeus
Now THERE'S a headline for ya'!
For the past year, the Obumble bunch have been calling McChrystal, "brilliant", "genius", etc., and then, "WHOOPS"--we screwed up! He's really not fit to remain in the service of his country.

So I started screwing around with the design-
--and the next thing I know, I can't recognize where I'm at, or how I got here.
I guess that's what you get when you step into the garage to do a little man's work at the old work bench.
I'd thought up something new and all I needed was one quart of gasoline, a fishing line--soaked in gasoline, of course--a target (already picked out) a little duct tape and some energetic wrapping.
So, just as I'm inspecting this contraption, my wife walks up, with a new cigar in her mouth, grabs my lighter and before I can say, "Where am I", WHAM! --I'm here.
Where ever the hell THIS is!
That damned woman will be the death of me yet!

Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas TX
Recently it's been said the minorities make up 35% of the American population.
Maybe that explains why the democrats are so liberal with benefits for the illegals!
Here's an excellent example:
Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas , Texas is a fairly famous
institution and for a variety of reasons:
1. John F. Kennedy died there in 1963
2. Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after
3. Jack Ruby-who killed Oswald, died there a few years later.
On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity
ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year.
That's almost 44 per day---every day)! In fact, NINE Hispanic illegal babies are born for every ONE Hispanic death!
A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants.
That's 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas!
According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.
The average patient in Parkland in maternity wards is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child. She is also an illegal immigrant. By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay.
OK, fine. That doesn't mean they should receive better care than everyday, middle-class American citizens. But at Parkland Hospital , they do. " Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics. NINE!!!
The Dallas Morning News article followed a Hispanic woman who was a patient at one of the clinics and pregnant with her third child---her previous two were also born at Parkland . Her first two deliveries were free and the Mexican native was grateful because it would have cost$200 to have them in Mexico. This time, the hospital wants her to pay $10 per visit and $100 for the delivery but she was unsure if she could come up with the money. Not that it matters, the hospital won't turn her away. (I wonder why they even bother asking at this point.)
"How long has this been going on? What are the long-term effects?
Well, another subject of the article was born at Parkland in 1986 shortly after her mother entered the US illegally - now she is having her own child there as well. (That's right; she's technically a US citizen.)
These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes. They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula.
Most of these things are available to American citizens as well, but only for low-income applicants, and even then, the red tape involved is almost insurmountable.
Because these women are illegal immigrants, they do not have to provide any sort of legitimate identification - no proof of income. An American citizen would have to provide a social security number which would reveal their annual income - an illegal immigrant need only claim to be poor and the hospital must take them at their word.
Parkland Hospital offers indigent care to Dallas County residents who earn less than $40,000 per year. (They also have to prove that they did not refuse health coverage at their current job.. Yeah, the 'free' care is not so easy for Americans.)
There are about 140 patients who received roughly $4 million dollars for un-reimbursed medical care. As it turns out, they did not qualify for free treatment because they resided outside of Dallas County so the hospital is
going to sue them! Illegal's get it all free! But U. S citizens who live
outside of Dallas County get sued! How stupid is this?
As if that isn't annoying enough, the illegal immigrant patients are actually complaining about hospital staff not speaking Spanish. In this AP story, the author speaks with a woman who is upset that she had to translate comments from the hospital staff into Spanish for her husband. The doctor was trying to explain the situation to the family and the mother was forced to translate for her husband who only spoke Spanish.
This was apparently a great injustice to her.
In an attempt to create a Spanish-speaking staff, Parkland Hospital is now providing incentives in the form of extra pay for applicants who speak Spanish.. Additionally, medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern for which Parkland Hospital is the training facility will now have a Spanish language requirement added to their already jammed-packed curriculum. No other school in the country boasts such a ridiculous multi-semester (multicultural) requirement.
I wonder how Americans would vote in the coming elections if they realized this is just ONE hospital out of the thousands across the country. Any wonder why health care is so expensive for the rest of us who pay for our care?
Hey, Obama! Want to save money on health care?
Send ALL of the illegals home, along with their babies, whether or not the baby is citizen.

How Not to Gain Attention
Seems Obama has been under investigation for some kind of criminal link to the BP oil spill. The San Francisco Examiner has a story this morning about his (and some of his buddies) ties to BP.
I don't think this is the kind of attention Obama wants!
And speaking of that, here's some I didn't want:
Saturday began just like any other day. I woke up about 4:30, got up about 4:45 (after considering staying in bed) and staggered into the living room where my wife had coffee waiting for me.
I did my usual chores, which consisted of going out front and picking up the paper—you know—the one loaded with Obamaganda?
I came back in the house, sat down and started reading, while waiting for my wife to make breakfast!
I noticed my back seemed a little sensitive this morning, but passed it off as just arthritis flaring up from sleeping too long on my back.
By the time I passed up Doonesbury (never could stand that strip) my back was hurting pretty good.
So when my wife called me to breakfast, I told her I wanted two full-strength aspirin, instead of the 81mg “baby” one I usually take.
“Why?” she asked, directly to the point as usual!
“Oh, my back aches a little this morning,” I says, acting nonchalant!
After breakfast as I was dressing, I noticed the pain was a little more intense, but I ignored it and continued on with my ablutions!
20 minutes later, as I checked my email (my usual early morning sleepy chore) I discovered my back ached clear through my solar plexus!
Now this was decidedly not normal and not my cup of special tea from Gevalia coffees.
No, of course I don’t drink tea in the morning, stupid---I drink COFFEE—duhh!
Anyhow, despite not drinking tea, I decided to call my advice nurse to see if there were any actions I should take besides opening my front door and screaming, “HA-A-A-A-A-A-A-LP!” as loudly as I could!
We discussed the pain.
“On a rating of 1 to 10, how would you describe your pain”, she asked?
“Um, painful”, I said.
“No, no! I mean if you were to assign a rating to the pain, beginning with 1 as the lowest, or least pain, rising to 10 as emergency pain—where does your pain fall?”
“Well, generally in the lumbar region,” I said, proud I could use a medical term to show my intelligence.
There was a long silence on the phone. Finally, with a sigh, the nurse said, “Tell me how bad it hurts, Mr. ROC!”
“It hurts like hell,” I replied, “That’s why I’m calling you---geez!”
“So you should call an 911 right away,” she sez.
I let that thought perambulate through my brain for several seconds. It took several paths I didn’t like, one being the embarrassment of being hauled out on a stretcher in front of God, my neighbors and all the cats and dogs on the block!
“Well,” I welled, “I guess it’s not that painful.”
“Please hold,” she sez.
W’ot? Hold? Me? But, but, but-, I’m DYING and she wants ME to HOLD?
So I held.
Two minutes later she’s back. “Mr ROC?”
“Still here,” I sez.
“I talked to an emergency room doctor and he advised you come in right away. Can your wife drive you?”
Half an hour later, with my wife telling me I wasn’t really dying and the Emergency room was just another $50 waste of time, I’m checked into emergency at Kaiser Permanente in Antioch.
After blood tests, X-rays and 4 hours of waiting the doctor comes in and tells me there was nothing wrong with me!
“Nothing,” sez I?
“Nope,” sez he, and, “You can be home in time for dinner!”
“Not MY dinner,” sez the thoroughly PO’d wife.
So of course, my wife and I stopped at a local restaurant for dinner.
Who wants to cook when they have a sore back?

State of the Union
Here we are (where are we?) 18 months into the reign of King Obama and the damned country is falling apart!
Obama and his minions continue to claim the economy is improving, while blaming Bush for everything, totally ignoring the fact that, for the last two years of Bush, congress was held by a majority of democrats! Funny, isn't it, how they now want to blame Bush, "...over his last two years", for driving up the national debt and bankrupting the country?
It really is funny, I guess, because I can't remember Bush having a ton of money printed so he'd have more to spend.
Oh!
No wonder!
That was Obama that started that, wasn't it?
Ever take a bath in dollar bills? It won't be long until we can save our money in a bathtub, so we can either take a bath in it (as our economy is doing now), or take it to the store and buy a loaf of bread--if we hurry before the price goes up!
It seems everything Obama does is wrong which, I guess, is the result of a communist upbringing. As we know (or should know) communism doesn't go well with capitalism. Funny, even the commies know that. Look how hard they're working to destroy capitalism!
In true Marxist fashion, Obama has created an enemy we are all supposed to hate--big business.
Yep! The same, big business that has created jobs for Americans for many years and, incidentally, enabled our lucrative life styles.
Do they make mistakes--wreak evil upon us? Yep, again! But overall, under close scrutiny, they perform admirably, creating wealth for Americans and envy throughout the world.
Unfortunately, communism doesn't create jobs. Well, unless you count as jobs the communes, where you live and work for the commies.
The pay isn't exactly what we're used to there, either.
Capitalism has always created jobs and work and always will wherever it's employed. Is it unequal in pay? You bet your bippy, because it expects you to work for your money. It expects you to become expert at what you do. It expects you to put forth the effort to better yourself.
The Chinese had it right when they said, "No tickee--no laundlee! And that's the way it should be. "No workee, no money--honey!"
The only people who should be ON welfare of any kind, are those disabled persons who cannot fend for themselves. And true capitalism would expect families to take care of their own--including their elderly--but, since the churches have stopped preaching "family" and "taking care of the elderly", we have instead sat on our duffs listening to the promises of the communists who tell us the government will take care of all our ills, which is an impossible concept!
We are already saddled with a health care program that is so cumbersome it's doomed to expensive failure! There is no way on this God's green earth this government--already 13 trillion in the hole, can pay for our health care WITHOUT taking large chunks of our money in taxes!
And when they do, families will go broke, banks will go bust and we will become a third world mess controlled by a dictator with world goals!
We will have no rights. No rights of recourse. No laws allowing recompense for damages by our "leaders". And no right to dissent without fear of imprisonment or, if we're lucky, re-indoctrination camps, from which we will return to the commune as "good little citizens"!
You will go that route, as long as our present path is allowed.
I have no intention of following it. I would rather be killed fighting such a system. If I am killed fighting such a system, I will have the pleasure, at least, of knowing I upset their system at least for a moment.
The day has come--and gone--when we had a choice to make as to what we want from our government. Now we are at the point of no return. If we do not take action soon, there will be no America to save--no liberties to enjoy.
#1. We must stop the flow of illegals into this country.
#2. We must stop the attempt to force Puerto Rico to become the 51st state.
#3. We must stop ALL attempts at gun control in any form.
#4. We must begin the push to repeal the health care act.
#5. We must stop Obama from signing the UN treaty, which will cause governments to confiscate ALL small arms, which may be used to defend ourselves. Congress must never approve this treaty.
#6. We must demand our justice system return to a constitutionally neutral and just application of law and ignore ALL foreign influences on judgments.
There are many other things we must change and these are just a few that demand our immediate attention.
Only you, the individual, can make a difference.
A million individual voices can bring down the mountains when shouting as one! You must be untiring and relentless in the face of all opposition.
You must follow those principles handed down by our forefathers.
I am an old man asking--and recommending--these things.
I only wish I was young enough to go into this battle with you--to become, if necessary, a martyr in the battle for freedom--in this battle for our individual souls.
May the good Lord bless you and keep you in the palm of his hand, and may he aid us all in our battle against the evil with which we are inflicted, so that we may once again look with pride upon the land of the free and, once again, become the home of the brave!
Obama and his minions continue to claim the economy is improving, while blaming Bush for everything, totally ignoring the fact that, for the last two years of Bush, congress was held by a majority of democrats! Funny, isn't it, how they now want to blame Bush, "...over his last two years", for driving up the national debt and bankrupting the country?
It really is funny, I guess, because I can't remember Bush having a ton of money printed so he'd have more to spend.

Ever take a bath in dollar bills? It won't be long until we can save our money in a bathtub, so we can either take a bath in it (as our economy is doing now), or take it to the store and buy a loaf of bread--if we hurry before the price goes up!
It seems everything Obama does is wrong which, I guess, is the result of a communist upbringing. As we know (or should know) communism doesn't go well with capitalism. Funny, even the commies know that. Look how hard they're working to destroy capitalism!
In true Marxist fashion, Obama has created an enemy we are all supposed to hate--big business.
Yep! The same, big business that has created jobs for Americans for many years and, incidentally, enabled our lucrative life styles.
Do they make mistakes--wreak evil upon us? Yep, again! But overall, under close scrutiny, they perform admirably, creating wealth for Americans and envy throughout the world.
Unfortunately, communism doesn't create jobs. Well, unless you count as jobs the communes, where you live and work for the commies.
The pay isn't exactly what we're used to there, either.
Capitalism has always created jobs and work and always will wherever it's employed. Is it unequal in pay? You bet your bippy, because it expects you to work for your money. It expects you to become expert at what you do. It expects you to put forth the effort to better yourself.
The Chinese had it right when they said, "No tickee--no laundlee! And that's the way it should be. "No workee, no money--honey!"
The only people who should be ON welfare of any kind, are those disabled persons who cannot fend for themselves. And true capitalism would expect families to take care of their own--including their elderly--but, since the churches have stopped preaching "family" and "taking care of the elderly", we have instead sat on our duffs listening to the promises of the communists who tell us the government will take care of all our ills, which is an impossible concept!
We are already saddled with a health care program that is so cumbersome it's doomed to expensive failure! There is no way on this God's green earth this government--already 13 trillion in the hole, can pay for our health care WITHOUT taking large chunks of our money in taxes!
And when they do, families will go broke, banks will go bust and we will become a third world mess controlled by a dictator with world goals!

A cool and illuminating 18 months have passed since Hussein Soetoro Obama was elected to office.
And suddenly, many democrats are beginning to turn tail!
Yep! It's true! Even CNN has presented several items slamming "the Messiah" for his unconstitutional actions!
To make matters worse, he's beginning to give the cold shoulder to most of the mainstream media. Something they're not used to and something their egos can barely stand.
Imagine! He's not just cutting out Fox News channels, he's refusing to answer questions of the big boys in telly and print!
Well, fellas! Take heart! This is only the beginning! On public display has been his arrogant attitude, first with the comment, early on after his election of, "I WON", apparently made in the mistaken belief he would instantly gain respect and an end to republican arguments. Top that off with his remarks about how the health bill would be discussed behind closed doors and passed over any objections by the republicans.
How arrogant can you get?
This statement was followed almost immediately by announcing to the Arab world in Egypt, the United States was not a Christian country, but had deep roots in their relations with Muslims.
I'm assuming he was talking about himself, because there sure aren't many in this country who have ties to Muslim fanatics!
I also suppose that would be news to somebody like Stephen Decatur when he battled the Muslim pirates at Tripoli. I'll bet dollars against wet dreams he wasn't hollering anything about "Allah Hak-abar", while cutting down pirates, either!
So the upshot of all this hassle is slowly beginning to turn around. America's temporary love affair with socialism has had so many lumps over the past 18 months, it will be a miracle if Obama can keep from being impeached for mainstream ignorance!
"But", you might complain. "He's a 'Hahvahrd' graduate!"
Well, he and a Princeton graduate will get you a two-fer at the local commie party dance!

Obama's Plan for Absolute Control
Well, after weeks and weeks of discussion, arguments and closed door SECRET sessions, the democrats feel ready to jam health care down our throats!
"I'M the BOSS", was "der Schwarze Fuhrer's" message to the repubs at their recent sit down gab fest--where the dems did all of the talking.
When the repubs spoke, they were immediately belittled either by Obammer, or Pelousy!
So the dems feel confident at going forward with the plans for passage of a bill that will, basically and for the first time, establish a dictatorship in this country. Our omnipresent government will have absolute control over the most important parts of our economy.
At the present, Pelousy doesn't have the votes to pass the health care bill. She's going to have to browbeat some blue dogs into line, first. That will take time. Time should be on our side.
I'm also sure the repubs plan a filibuster to slow the process even more.
On the other hand, I no longer trust anything "der Schwarze Fuhrer" says, or does; neither do I trust Pelousy, or Reid.
I am equally convinced Obammer is determined to become a dictator and to that end will do whatever is required to achieve it. IF he can do it peacefully, so be it, but at the first sign of open rebellion, he will clamp down.
The American people were warned during the campaign that, despite his hidden records, there was enough information available to show his communist/socialist leanings. After all, everyone admitted he was the most left leaning Senator in the Senate!
The American people, through their own ignorance, chose to ignore those signs and voted this monster into office!
We are now going to pay the price for this major mistake. And I'm not sure open rebellion is any longer an option, since it requires organization, supplies, etc. A few patriots carrying their .30-30's to DC would shortly be vulture feed!
As has been said, ""The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." --- Thomas Jefferson.
At this late date, it may, indeed, be very, very bloody!

Where Have All the Liberals Gone?
I occasionally post on a conservative board, which has—or did have--several liberals thereon.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed how many of the boards have shed liberals lately. Their excuse is always the same: "You guys always call us names!"
This is always said by people whose vocabulary consists mainly of "repigs", or "repugs" and one of my favorites, "re-tards", which apparently shows their special feelings toward those less fortunate than themselves—even though they fail to realize they are included in that category.
When I joined this particular board there was only one liberal on board -- a little lady I will call DOW.
Dow posted an occasional heart wrenching, or uplifting story of various and sundry themes that never failed to gain admiration and, yes, even love.
But when it came to politics, she was always direct and "to-the-point"! She didn't like republicans, or anybody else, who didn't idolize her hero and savior, Barack HUSSEIN Obama.
Once she went so far as to post Obama's achievements--which turned out to be a litany of the empty promises that fraud had snowed democrats with during his campaign.
Finally, in a fit of pique at being mistreated by republicans and displaying a stubborn refusal to understand the basic concepts of how communism is evil for this country, Dow disappeared from sight.
She pops in occasionally to post a bland, non-political comment, which is certainly acceptable--but basically useless.
I understand how many people came to know and love people like Dow--but then, most liberals are capable of selling the general populace a mixture of snake and motor oil and making them believe it will cure what ails them.
So without Dow, the board drifted along without a liberal in sight and was exceedingly happy being able to discuss the rigors of the night and the politics of the day with intelligent friends.
Suddenly our head mistress, displaying her superior wisdom, rightly enticed a few more liberal socialists and radical commies to enter our midst to "Liven it up a little"—to add the possibility of debate to the board.
Only one has lasted past 2 weeks. The rigors of trying to defend an indefensible position have proven to be far beneath their abilities.
One poster named Hawk gave up almost immediately, after leaving behind the droppings of poison similar to the feculence of most rats.
How long, oh Lord, before we see the last of the commies in our government and our communities? How long before the uneducated socialists realize their ideas of government not only are unconstitutional but will, in actuality, not work?
I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me freedom from the little liberals and their petulant and petty perturbations.
