Where Did Our Freedom Go?

We no longer live in the land of the free and home of the brave. There's no more freedom and the brave are rapidly leaving the service. Why die for the principles of socialism, or communism? Weren't we just fighting against those philosophies not long ago?
How quickly people forget!

Obumbles has dictated churches will provide birth control pills to their employees. Any American should be able to tell him, his edict is unconstitutional. It is a violation of the 1st amendment and the right of religious organizations to exist without government hindrance. That means NO interference from government which, it seems, has always annoyed the socialist democrats.

The churches are within their rights to refuse to comply with such orders, even if it means incarceration for a short time--until patriots win back their freedom.
For Obumbles to continue in this vein will simply mean he may be the direct cause of another revolution.
The first president since Abe Lincoln, to do so.

Remember how they called Bill Clinton the first "black president"?
It's going to be a major blow to the black population in this country who will lose credibility for any further attempts at running another black democrat for president.

And they will have earned that distinction by electing the first Communist President in America!

Why am I Reminded of Obama, Every Time I See Europe on a Map?

Well, chum, maybe it's because he's doing his damnedest to change America into another Europe.
If he thought he'd could move this continent alongside Europe, he would. He wants to be within walking distance, I guess.

I've got a better plan. Let's find a small, 20 foot sailboat and set him adrift. If he can learn to sail, maybe he could make it to Europe, because as far as I'm concerned, Obama is not a natural born citizen and is ineligible to be president. And as far as I'm concerned, he's no longer welcome in this country.

And if that wasn't enough, the list of infringements he's shoved down the throats of the American people should convince anybody that this guy hated America when he was running for office and still does.

This country has had it's share of great presidents. It's unfortunate that our students, from grade school through college, can't name 4 of the founding fathers.
The reason? Teachers are too busy teaching "social studies" and socialist mores.
And then we stupidly wonder why they don't know anything! Well, anything American, at least.

I listened to a speech from a foreigner. I was absolutely shocked to find he not only knew the constitution, but was more passionately patriotic than any American I've met in years. It was a beautiful speech. It's one every American should be made to listen to, because the speech, given at CPAC was 27 minutes long and I'm well aware the any speech that long, will lose at least half of it's American audience, because the only thing they'll listen to longer is the news of Whitney Houston's death!
Yep, that was such a mountainous and calamitous event that every news channel can do nothing but sob over her demise. And so far, they have no idea what was the cause of death--and we hear that over and over, as though it's the fault of the police who haven't told us.
I don't really want to hear it. Houston, at one time, had a good voice and she made a ton of money from it. Then the drugs she was using destroyed her voice so she quit singing. That's the long and short of it. And finally, at the age of 48, she gets found in a bathtub, deader'n a doornail.
Now, she either overdosed on drugs, or drowned. Or overdosed on drugs and drowned herself. I don't much care which. She wasn't my role model.


So, returning to the condition of our country (which Houston appeared to be one aspect of) I'm going to list the link to the speech, because it's so good I'd like to preserve it.

The Death of our 1st Amendment Rights

It's now a "done deal"! You've sat on your hands long enough so that Obama and his crowd have stepped in and scammed you out of your 1st amendment rights.

"And just how did they do that", you might ask.
I'll tell you. They offered churches an "accommodation" on their 1st amendment rights.
"Oh, HO!", you shout. "You don't know what you're talking about! That accommodation was only for dispensing birth control (BC) pills and had nothing to do with the 1st amendment."
But, you see, it had everything to do with the 1st amendment. The churches claimed they had the 1st amendment right to practice religion as they pleased. The government, by demanding they supply women with BC options, was trying to force them to abandon their beliefs against abortion and go with the national flow on BC.
The churches said, "No way, Jose!", so Obama thought and thought (at least he wants us to THINK he thought!) and finally came up with a compromise. He'd let the insurance companies directly supply the ladies with what they desired!
Unfortunately those insurers plans are paid for by the churches--SO, Obumbles was once again forcing the churches to pay for the "free" BC pills for the ladies.

Are you beginning to see the problem with this? That's correct--there was no compromise. It was either Obumbles way, or the highway, and the churches are still fighting with him over that.

IF OBAMA WINS--he will have destroyed the 1st amendment rights for ALL CITIZENS!

"What?", you bellow. (I heard you--you bellowed!)
It's simple. By issuing a "compromise", or "adjustment" for the churches, Obama has just announced he (the government) controls your 1st amendment rights--OTHERWISE HE COULDN'T ISSUE ADJUSTMENTS, OR COMPROMISES!

NOW do you get it? Obama, according to the 1st amendment, DOES NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to force Women's need for free BC pills/gadgets on the churches!
No! Women just need to be free to buy their own--just as men do!

Actually, that's a smoke screen! The problem here is a matter of control and overriding the 1st amendment.
This is really an attack on all of our rights! If they can show the government can allow "accommodations" to groups--then what they are saying is, government controls our 1st amendment rights!
For these idiots to say the contraceptive policies will stand, is letting us know THEY have the final say on our rights. This has been the aim of Obama all along and everybody is playing into his hands by concentrating on BC and abortion!

Your 1st amendment rights are on the door sill of democracy, headed out!

Can you say we're being outmaneuvered by DICTATOR OBAMA??? ANY OF OUR 1ST AMENDMENT RIGHTS,---therefore, he CAN'T LEGALLY OFFER AN ADJUSTMENT!

Be warned! If the churches accept this "compromise", we will ALL be in very deep doo-doo. And it will be very difficult to take back our stolen rights which most of you citizens out there have sat on your keesters waiting for George to take care of the problem.
"Well," you whine (I HEARD you "whine"!) "I have to work and I'm tired when I get home from work."

Wait until the government puts you to work at slave wages and THEN tell me how tired you are.
Wait until you read this column, six months from now, and are arrested for "subversive" documents on your computer, to see how tired you get in overcrowded jails.

Whatever you can do NOW, you MUST do! We can not let Obama bamboozle us again!
Write your representatives and Senators and express your displeasure over this whole scam.

If you don't want to do that, enjoy the following years in a socialist society where you have no more rights!

Obama has it down pat.
Conservatives keep hoping he's going to lean more towards what they want and less towards what the leftists want.
Guess again! He can tell you about all the conservative wishes and sound like he's "just about" to take action on them, then turn around and slam the churches with a demand to provide products which are against their religion.
Sure, I'm talking about the contraceptive flap.

Which brings me to a side subject. Who the hell ever said contraceptives should be free? Why in the hell does the government give them away to every kiddie over 5 years old, when they can't pay their own light bills?
This damned government has done more to corrupt our children than most pedophiles!
In fact, maybe it's about time we charged the government with the ruination
of children and put them in the cell with the pedophiles!

On the other hand, I don't hold a lot of sympathy for the churches, either! Ever since Obumbles ran for president, we've known he was coming from a commie background. He admits his friends were commies and he liked Marx ideas.
(Hey! If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck,--) The churches were certainly aware this clown was going to be hard on them! In fact, I'm surprised he didn't start sooner.

But the churches have finally wised up--even though it took them too long to do it. Now they're faced with having to disobey a (unconstitutional) federal law, which could slap 'em with fines for non-compliance! Maybe now they'll start preaching against the government--ya' suppose?
Oh, sorry! There's another (unconstitutional) law against priests, pastors and the like proselytizing against the government from the pulpit.
So if your going to disobey one law, why not make it a twosome, I always say.

I'm always saying something--take it for what it's worth. I've never said I was a genius!

Obama Should Start Getting Nervous

You'll be able to tell by the amount of attack ads. The LAST thing he wants is to debate Newt Gingrich who will remind him of his background--you know, the one he's been hiding all these years?

And so the South Carolina primary is over. All those Carolinians can go back to work now, knowing they've done their duty.

I'm really amazed at how many people were predicting another win for Mitt, when all the indicators said Newt would win. I even predicted Newt to win with 40%; Mitt with 28% and Santorum with 17%. Bringing up the rear, I predicted it would be Ron Paul at 14%, but I missed on the percentages there.
Well, three out of four, ain't bad, is it?

Now they're all off to Florida, which state is known for all it's retired folks--many of whom carry guns! Whatta' ya' bet they get a large 'pub turn out?
Predicting the winners there is going to be difficult, but I'm inclined to think they'll be influenced somewhat by Newt's large win numbers in SC. That, and the fact the retired folks like Newt (because they can remember him!) you have a recipe for another landslide.
Whatever happens, or whoever fumbles the ball, it's going to be an interesting next 10 days.
The democrats are so nervous they've got Obumbles making his state of the union address tomorrow night, promising how he's going to brighten the future of America.
Well, you have to give him some credit for guts. After his past 3 years as prez, there's no question as to who is the worst prez we've ever had. He's even beat out "Jimmuh" Carter!
It it were me having to face congress, I think I'd call in sick and take a lo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ng vacation---Ten years ought to do it!

Debate? Debate? I Thought it Was a Rout!

Now, mind you, I didn't actually SEE the debate, the reason being I fell asleep!
I was waiting to see it, honest, but for some dadgummed reason, I couldn't keep my eyes open.
Even their yelling didn't wake me up.

OK, so I had to read the papers and the internet about it this morning. After having seen the previous debates, I'm pretty sure I can put together what happened at this one.
Mitt-baby played it smoothly, without any histrionics!
Santorum refused to quit and actually came out as another "smoothy"!
Perry shocked everybody by seeming to be reasonable.
And Newt slapped the moderators down, right along with Ron Paul, who was his usual hysterical self, demanding troop withdrawals and the cessation of all welfare payments.
Can you imagine the screaming we'd hear from all those people the democrats have had on welfare for the past 10 years?
Not to mention those people who have had 99 months of unemployment pay. Like Newt said, that's enough time to get an AA degree! Well, it SOUNDED good to everybody but the guys receiving that pay who have Masters and PHD degrees!
They'll take ANY job right now--forget the degree!
Whoops! I forgot a comment about the popular guy---R. Paul.
The only thing I can say for R. Paul is, he provides entertainment for the rest of us, but presidential? Hell no!

So who was the winner of this debac-, er, debate? Probably Newt. He seems to have made the most sense. Personally, I'd love to see Newt debate Obama. I don't think Obama could match Newt historical fact, for socialist wishes.
I mean, you remember the old saying about wishes?
You can put a wish in one hand and crap in the other--
--and see which hand gets filled first.

You Think Obama is Kidding About Not Needing Congress?

I said in a column I wrote in November, that if Obama became a dictator, there'd be no use for congress and they could go home.
Little did I know he couldn't wait!
He just signed another executive order appointing another crony judge while totally ignoring the Senate.
And the Senate is FULL of his buddies!
Now, if he'll ignore his buddies, what do you think he has in mind for his enemies, the republicans? Uh, huh! Probably FEMA controlled detention camps! What the heck! He's decided he doesn't need congress.
He's already promised that, starting this month, he's going to write even more exec. orders, "because he doesn't want to wait for congress to fool around with what he wants done!"

You know what's even worse about this? There isn't ONE congressman with balls enough to stand up and say, "Hey, wait just a damn minute there, buddy! Who do you think you are--,
Hitler?"
Expect Pres. Obama to start sprouting a very special mustache almost any day now.
I mean, he can't let no white man outdo a "brother", can he?

You'd be wise to start practicing up on your Nazi salute!

Actually, I had this medical problem, ya' see, which is why I haven't brought my blog up to date.
I mean, the PAIN was intense!! You can't imagine!! (NO, you CAN'T EITHER!)

One minute, there I was sitting innocently in my chair having just pulled my pants on to make preparations for finishing my morning dressing chore.
The next I was dancing around the room like a madman!!
DAMN, that HURT!

Have you ever known REAL pain? I mean the kind that starts in your stomach and simply EXPLODES into your brain?
Well, that's what this was like!
And I've always thought of myself as a somewhat stoic person, who didn't let pain really bother me too much-, --but THIS! THIS was just too much!

My wife came running into the bedroom looking frantically all over my body trying to find what I was yelling about.
When she discovered the source of my pain, she began hysterically---laughing!
"Hold still, you old fool, and I'll remove your pain", she said, still laughing.
I mean, it hurt like h-e-double- ell, when she yanked the damned zipper down.
At my age, there just isn't much left there, so in a fight with a zipper, you can bet it's going to lose.

It took me a long time before I got over that pain---and that's why I haven't been posting here.
That's my story, and I'm sticking too it!

Shocked would also fit.
Congress has sunk so low in the eyes of the citizens, I don't believe there's any more use for it. I think we should sh_t can the whole thing and start over.
First thing to do is get rid of the 60+socialists in the congress. They're the main reason congress doesn't work. They will never agree to anything the republicans want. Unfortunately, the republicans haven't figured that out yet!
They keep trying the same old things expecting different results! It's like trying to burn down a steel door with a box of matches--one at a time!

Well, we made the door darker. Maybe the next match will burn through!

Umm, give it up, gang! The socialists not only know how to block what you're attempting, they know how to yank your chain while they're at it.
"We've come up with a perfectly good plan but, as usual, the repubs insist on blocking our increasing taxes on the rich!"
Duh! Increasing the taxes on the rich?
That's just an excuse to lay on the repubs! If the repubs suddenly said, "OK! Let's tax the crap out of the rich, the democrats would first soil their diapers, than quickly find a new excuse to blame on the repubs!

The point is, the democrats don't want spending "cut", or "limited", or any of those cool actions. They want to continue to spend, while they continue to lay the blame on the repubs!
You've noticed the debt continues to climb? Nothing has changed. And where's the president in all of this?
Campaigning, of course. He doesn't give a crap about the state of the "union"! I doubt he even knows there's a union. All he knows is there's an election next November and he "might" lose.

That would spoil his plans to become dictator and if that happened, congress could go home, because there'd be no further use for them--ever!

I'm always amazed at the sympathy generated over a picture of a person on welfare.
People drivel on and on about how "unfortunate" they are.
Get a clue, people. They're probably living better than you are.

Take Obama, for example---(PLEASE!)
Obama has never held a job in his life. His sole claim to "working" was back in Chicago when he was a "community organizer"!

In other words, he didn't work. He just made speeches--and got paid for it.
He's still making speeches. The only difference is the amount of money he's being paid and the amount of money he has access to--taxpayer's money.
Or did you really believe "Moochelle" was paying for her own trips to Spain, etc.?
Incidentally, you'll note they both visited Africa--but chose not to stay.

So Obama still hasn't got a job. Now he thinks he's a "national organizer"-- or maybe a "world organizer".
Well, that's what his speeches are about, anyway.
Which proves that fantasy wishes sometimes lead to fruition, whether we like it or not.
It also proves the old adage, "Be careful what you wish for--"!

I have a better idea. Since he can't decide what he can do in this life, I'd suggest we give him a new title:
Hobo, or Bum! Let's put Obama back on welfare right along with his aunt and uncle.

I think that's a job he's much better suited for.
The best part of it is, we could work on deporting all three of them!
